Climate Change and mizdarlin hats...

It's a false Spring here, but an amazingly warm January, continuing past the first week in February, makes me wonder if Winter is gone until the end of the year...
Never, in the 38 years that I've been living here, has the weather been so balmy and pleasant...and deadly for crocheted hat sales...not only online, but my weekly market, like the rainclouds, seems to have dried up, as well...
I am resorting (this weekend) to bringing out the jewelry 2 months early, in the hope that selling, on the 13th of February, a Saturday, will be a bit more profitable with Valentine's Day looming, and the fact that jewelry sells better when women uncover portions of themselves as it warms up...
I'm a bit confused, myself, since the indoor venue where we sell until March is really overheated, so I have to dress as though it were June-
wonder if that is a factor, too...too-warm, coat-wearing customers uncomfortable in the arificial heat-induced indoor climate, looking at hats as the last thing they need at the moment.
*Sigh* But what can a crafter do, under the circumstances?
